The
Game...Plus!
There are many ways that Ta-Ka-Radi®
has been used.
The Basics
Take fifty small wooden blocks - build a
tower - then remove one at a time and place on top.
Simple.
But as the game progresses and the tower grows, the whole thing
gathers an air of breathtaking suspense.
Finally - with some levels balanced precariously on one or two
tiles - the tower falls with a reverberating crash.
Or play Jungle Rules to add spice. Or add your own twist
- it's all part of the Ta-Ka-Radi® Game. |

Educational Benefits
"Our seventh grade kids absolutely love
Ta-Ka-Radi®!
They love the concentration - the intensity - the crash as the tower
falls - and the fact that they can design a 'forfeit' for the toppler!
What I love is that this game is like no other!
Although someone topples the tower, there is really no loser. Rather,
there is relief, laughter, surprise and hilarity as it crashes down.
I wish that more games were like this.
Rather than glorifying in winning, my kids play this together. If
more games - as well the great Game of Life - were this fun and
full of surprise and hilarity, I contend that there would be more
cooperation and laughter all around, and the world would be a happier,
safer place."
J. Ingalls. Milton Ma. September 1999
Therapy
"I
thought you might enjoy this picture of absolute
concentration - I never knew Jim could look so serious. I
guess it took your game to do it!!"
Pat Hudson August 1991
"Perhaps the prime physical objective
that is addressed by Ta-Ka-Radi® is in the development of hand-eye
coordination and manual dexterity."
John Wintermute. The Pennsylvania Journal of Health, Physical
Education, and Recreation. 1980
"I have been having a great deal of
success with Ta-Ka-Radi® in my Group Therapy class. For obvious
reasons, a picture is not possible, but I wish you could see all
their smiling and delighted faces as they play!"
Susan Henoch. Princeton NJ May 2002
Teambuilding
"This
is our marketing team relaxing in the evening during our off site
meeting last week. We used
the game of Ta-Ka-Radi®
at the beginning of the
session in small teams.
It worked incredibly well to illustrate the
'competition - cooperation' paradigm shift."

Great Gifts!
Ta-Ka-Radi®
makes a great gift for many occasions - Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries.
We can customize your bag in a number of ways:

"Thank you for making the bag out of my husbands old shirt.
It used to be his favorite, but the cuffs and neck were way gone.
Imagine his delight to find his birthday present literally his much
loved shirt resurrected!"
Mrs. Jonathan Nolan
And we would love to show you the letter from
the Virginia couple who used their honeymoon pajamas in the same
way - but it is way too risqué!!
But
the most creative idea occurred in 1992. We made a giant game for a
sixtieth birthday present.
Beware, though -
It weighed in at seventy pounds.
Two bags, double lined, were needed.
It was not cheap!!
When it falls, look out!! These tiles are
heavy.
It was, however, a successful surprise!
